I hate when im using my navigation in my car and it mutes my music to tell me the directions, and when browsing the web and videos autoplay, drives me nuts. So I dug out my old 7th gen 160gb iPod ill be modding it soon to be perfect! its great already even! I may find an old 5th gen cause I want that Wolfson DAC that I had in school, it was the best, I dont know where that one is sadly.

I purchased one it took 2 and a half months to get. For the most part I like the idea of it. U can use earbuds not just for music but phone calls as well. I asked it if it can learn it said yes I think it should b for older people who are less tech savvy n don't need all the extra features. It does need work like with all new things time will tell

I know it's not a review, but the total lack of anything critical to say makes this feel like a fluff piece. You almost pointed out the obvious, that iOS is purposefully restricted so that Apple can extract their 30% fee, but you stopped short.
